Clients Give Strasburger Industry Teams High Marks in BTI Rankings
July 24, 2017
Strasburger & Price, LLP (Strasburger) is grateful to our clients for elevating the firm’s Retail and Transportation Industry Teams to the top of the BTI Industry Power Rankings for excellent client relationships.
According to BTI, clients voted Strasburger a Leading Core firm for the Retail Trade industry, placing it among the top 5% of all law firms. Clients also named Strasburger to the Honor Roll of Recommended firms for the Transportation industry, in the top 10% of all law firms. Compiled by BTI Consulting Group, the Industry Power Rankings rate law firms with the best client relationships in 18 industries.
“Providing client-centric service is the Strasburger way, so it’s not surprising our attorneys rated highly on this important ranking,” said Dan Butcher, the firm’s managing partner. “We have created strong industry teams at Strasburger that provide a portfolio of legal services for our clients and help them manage a variety of ongoing business challenges. By delivering excellent service across a range of practices, we strive to earn the respect and recommendations of our clients.”
BTI considers Leading Core law firms to be the primary and secondary firms that companies turn to when they have legal needs. These firms, typically 15 out of the 37 different law firms large companies rely upon, have the greatest access to the client’s most attractive work, and capture 80% of the client’s legal spending. Most Recommended are the law firms clients most frequently recommend to their peers in an unprompted manner. According to BTI, 57% of corporate legal decision makers will hire a law firm based on a single, unprompted recommendation from a peer. Furthermore, BTI research indicates that only a third of general counsels recommended their primary law firms to peers.
BTI Industry Power Rankings are based on in-depth telephone interviews with more than 900 general counsels, chief legal officers, direct reports to general counsel and other leading legal decision-makers at large organizations with $1 billion or more in revenue. These companies represent 18 industry segments, including: financial, industrial and manufacturing, technology, consumer goods and retail, agriculture, energy, healthcare, professional services, transportation and more.
