Corporate Cross-Border / International Attorney, David J. Cibrian, Joins Strasburger's San Antonio Office

Mr. Cibrian is recognized for his experience in representing a wide range of domestic and international corporate and commercial clients. His practice focuses on capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate representation. He represents U.S. and foreign businesses ranging from start-up ventures to Fortune 1000 companies. Mr. Cibrian has also distinguished himself as an expert on United States policy towards Cuba. He has spoken on Capitol Hill and presented testimony before U.S. Congressional Committees regarding foreign trade and investment policy relating to Cuba. A former Certified Public Accountant with Ernst & Young, Mr. Cibrian has extensive experience representing Latin American, European and Asian companies in planning, structuring, negotiating and implementing joint ventures. He has represented private and publicly-held manufacturing, banking/finance, telecommunications, and retail companies in mergers, acquisitions, and commercial lending transactions. In addition, Mr. Cibrian offers a seasoned background in trade, financing and contract matters. Mr. Cibrian received his J.D. (cum laude) from Georgetown University, and B.S. (with honors) from Loyola Marymount University. He serves on the Board of Trustees of the University of the Incarnate Word and is a member of the San Antonio Free Trade Alliance.
