REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS
MARITIME TRANSPORTATION / LOGISTICS

Representing ocean carriers, freight forwarders, transportation brokers, customs
brokers, warehouses, consolidators, third party logistics providers, shippers and their
insurers in litigation involving cargo loss and damage disputes including claims under the
Carriage Of Goods By Sea Act ("COGSA") and in litigation involving collection of
freight charges.

Representing non-vessel-operating common carriers and ocean freight
forwarders in obtaining and amending ocean transportation intermediary
licenses from the Federal Maritime Commission and in complying with
requirements of the Ocean Shipping Reform Act of 1999.

Representing ocean carriers, freight forwarders, transportation brokers, customs
brokers, warehouses, consolidators, third and fourth party logistics providers and shippers in
negotiating and drafting transportation and logistics contracts involving ocean or other
waterway transportation.

Representing shippers in negotiating and implementing appropriate and necessary
insurance coverage for ocean carriage.

Representing ocean carriers, freight forwarders, transportation brokers, customs
brokers, third and fourth party logistics providers and shippers in connection with international
matters in Mexico, Latin America, Canada, Europe and other countries.

Representing ocean carriers, freight forwarders and third and
fourth party logistics providers in connection with
the formation and implementation of e-commerce services on the
Internet such as Web site based load matching services and other logistics services.

Mediation and arbitration of maritime transportation disputes.
